Visibility - Kill Team Rules
Visible
Visibility is used for many rules. It's part of the shooting requirements.
- Look from behind your operative's head. If you can see any part of what it's trying to see, it's visible.
- If you can draw an imaginary 1mm line from the operative's head to any part of what it's trying to see, it's visible.
To check visibility, look from behind the operative and determine if you can draw an unobstructed straight line 1mm in diameter from its head to any part of what it's trying to see.
Not Visible
If something (most often terrain) blocks another element completely, it's not visible to the operative.
To check visibility, look from behind the operative and determine if you can draw an unobstructed straight line 1mm in diameter from its head to any part of what it's trying to see.
Visibility Comparison
See what visibility looks like in different contexts. Note that you don't need to see the entire model for it to be visible; any part of it is legal (even weapons).
To check visibility, look from behind the operative and determine if you can draw an unobstructed straight line 1mm in diameter from its head to any part of what it's trying to see.
Ignore operatives' bases when determining this.
Operatives blocking visibiility
While rare in practice, it's possible for an operative to block visibility completely for another operative behind it.
