Vantage - Kill Team Rules

Vantage (Accuracy Bonus)

When shooting from Vantage terrain at a target with Engage Order, gain Accurate 1 if target is 2"+ lower, or Accurate 2 if 4"+ lower. This lets you retain attack dice as successes without rolling.

Whenever an operative on Vantage terrain is shooting an operative that has an Engage order, its ranged weapon has the Accurate 1 weapon rule if the target operative is at least 2" lower than it, or Accurate 2 if the target operative is at least 4" lower than it.

Vantage (Cover Negation)

From Vantage terrain, operatives 2"+ lower with Conceal Order cannot use Light terrain for Cover (becoming Valid Targets). However, the defender gets an improved cover save: retain as critical success OR retain +1 additional save.

Operatives at least 2" lower than that operative with a Conceal order cannot use Light terrain for cover. Whilst this can allow such operatives to be targeted, it doesn't remove their cover save.

Vantage (Obscured Exception)

For Obscured checks, ignore Heavy terrain connected to the Vantage terrain the attacker or target is on. Here the pillar is part of the attacker's structure, so Target 1 is not Obscured. Target 2 is still Obscured by the separate terrain.

For the purposes of obscured, ignore Heavy terrain connected to Vantage terrain the active operative or the intended target is on.

Vantage (Order Comparison)

Complete comparison: Engage Order targets are Valid Target with accuracy bonus. Conceal Order targets In Cover from Light terrain become valid targets (with improved saves). Conceal targets In Cover from Heavy terrain remain protected (since Vantage only negates Light terrain for Cover).
