Control Range
If something is visible to and within 1" of an operative, it's **within its Control Range.** The 1" is the distance between the base edges. Control Range affects many rules, like fighting, cover, movement, and marker control.

Control Range requires visibility. Even if within 1", an operative is NOT in Control Range if something blocks visibility between them.
Control Range between operatives is mutual. If one is in the other's Control Range, they're in each other's.
Control Range is mutual. If Operative A is visible to and within 1" of Operative B, they are both in each other's Control Range, even if B cannot see A back.
Control Range works the same with markers. The operative needs to see the marker and be within 1" of it.
