Control Range - Kill Team Rules
- Within 1" and visible to an enemy operative
Control Range
Something is within an operative's Control Range if it's visible to AND within 1" of that operative. Control Range affects fighting, Cover, movement restrictions, and marker control.
- Control range also determines who contests objective markers - total APL of operatives in range determines control.
Something is within an operative's control range if it's visible to and within 1" of that operative.
Control Range (Visibility Required)
Control Range requires visibility. Even if within 1", an operative is NOT in Control Range if terrain blocks visibility between them.
Control Range (Mutual)
Control Range between operatives is mutual - if one is in the other's Control Range, they're in each other's. It's enough if one operative can see the other for both to be in each other's control range.
Control range between operatives is mutual, therefore operatives are within each other's control range if one of them is visible to and within 1" of the other.
Control Range (One-Way Visibility)
Control Range is mutual. If Operative A is visible to and within 1" of Operative B, they are BOTH in each other's Control Range — even if B cannot see A back due to terrain.
- Only ONE operative needs to satisfy both conditions (visible + within 1") for the mutual rule to apply.
Control range between operatives is mutual, therefore operatives are within each other's control range if one of them is visible to and within 1" of the other.
